Ferrari Capitol Advisors was founded on a simple idea: the most complex policy challenges demand both technical precision and an authentic appreciation for the work itself.

Sixteen years ago, I was an engineer who didn’t know the ins-and-outs of a bill becoming a law. I was trained to calculate loads, design structures, and solve technical problems, not navigate the California Legislature. But over time, I discovered something: public policy, at its best, is simply fast-paced, problem-solving at scale. And California presents some of the most complex problems in the country.

What I bring to this work is not just relationships or experience, though I’ve spent more than fifteen years building both. I bring an engineer’s mind to a political world. I believe policy should work in the real world, not just on paper. I believe costs should be understood, impacts should be transparent, and implementation should be practical.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of representing organizations that build, innovate, and move California forward, from homebuilders and manufacturers to global brands and major sports organizations. I’ve helped advance priorities in the Legislature, the Governor’s Office, and state agencies, and I’ve worked just as hard to stop proposals that would create unintended harm.

Before launching Ferrari Capitol Advisors, I served as a partner at Axiom Advisors and previously led the statewide legislative agenda for the California Building Industry Association. Earlier still, I worked in development and structural engineering, experiences that continue to shape how I evaluate policy today.

But credentials only tell part of the story,

I believe relationships matter. I believe integrity matters. I believe steady, disciplined work over time builds trust, and that trust, along with a little (or a lot!) of elbow grease, moves policy.

I’m deeply grateful for the mentors, colleagues, clients, and family who have shaped this journey. I did not set out to become a lobbyist. Yet through hard work, unexpected opportunities, and a great deal of guidance along the way, this is exactly where I’m meant to be.

If you’re navigating a complex issue in California, I’d be honored to help you think it through.
